Auto Image has been working with both individual customers and local car-dealerships for over 30 years. The shop opened in 1985 and owner, Jeff Emerald, began his career as an auto-detailer here and eventually took over the shop in his early 20s. The reputation of Auto Image is built on a solid foundation of experience, great customer service and unbeatable attention to detail.

About Our Team

When you work with us, you’re working with some of the most experienced detailing professionals in the business. We are a proud Certified member of the International Detailers Association and winner of the 2016 IDA ‘Detail Shop of the Year’ award, so as you should expect our staff is fully knowledgeable about the latest auto-detailing techniques, materials, equipment and products within our industry. Auto Image has one of the largest facilities and detailing crews in the Chicagoland area – we even have international resources to make sure your work gets done efficiently and effectively.

Our work is so thorough that we have several longstanding relationships with most of the body shops and car dealerships in the Barrington area.  We have been detailing for Motor Werks of Barrington, Barrington Volvo and A.C.
